There are no free coins going around, but there are lots of memes about them, it’s just to get people to upvote their posts. As far as I know, of course reddit will be selling what little personal info you have, you are anonymous and whatever you follow will trend for you. It’s up to you if you want that to be public information or not. From memory, you have to select a make my votes public option in your preferences for someone else to see your votes. Can people see my upvote on Reddit?Ĭan people see what i upvote? Only you (and anyone who knows your password) can see what you upvote. They are hidden from users, but the Reddit administrators can see them. Upvotes and downvotes aren’t completely anonymous. The person who created the subreddit becomes the first mod and gets to choose the mod team. Subreddit mods are not employees and do not get paid. Reddit admins are employees that get paid. So “removing” is a better term than “delete”. However the post or comment will no longer appear on the subreddit page. What exactly happens depends on the situation, the subreddit, and what the mods do, or for that matter, whether the mods do anything or not.
